Superlativo Absoluto: -ísimo

Sirve para establecer la máxima gradación de un adjetivo dentro de una serie.
Para su formación añadimos al adjetivo la terminación -ísimo.
Its purpose is to establish an adjective's maximum scale within a series.
For its formation we add the ending -ísimo to the adjective.

1. Los adjetivos que acaban en consonante:
especial especialísimo
veloz velocísimo
1. Adjectives that end in consontant:
especial especialísimo
veloz velocísimo

2. Los adjetivos que acaban en vocal, esta es sustituida por -ísimo:
tonto tontísimo
listo listísimo
2. Adjectives ending in vowel, the vowel is substituted for -ísmo:
tonto tontísimo
listo listísimo

3. Hay adjetivos que pueden sufrir alteraciones ortográficas:
veloz velocísimo
blanco blanquísimo
3. There are adjectives that may have modifications in its spelling:
veloz velocísimo
blanco blanquísimo
